  • How much time will it take to get my Immigration?
    From the date of filing of the application with the Canadian immigration authorities, it takes 18-24 months time in India if an interview is required provided there are no delays from the client’s side. The applications have been completed in less than 1 year also where the interview conditions have been waived.
  • Will an immigration officer interview me ?
    As per the New law Visa offices may grant an interview waiver, depending on the qualifications of the applicant, quality of supporting documents, and the overall credibility of the applicant
  • Am I required to carry certain amount of funds with me?
    Skilled worker applicants will generally be required to prove that they have CAD$ 10,000, plus CAD$2000 per accompanying dependant. These funds are required to take care of the initial expenses, till suitable employment is obtained
  • When can my dependants land ?
    The accompanying dependants can land with the principal applicant or after the principal applicant, but in either case prior to the expiry date indicated on the Canadian immigrant visa
  • How much time will it take for me to get a job?
    Your job prospects are in built in to the system of immigration because Canadian immigration is only entertaining those professions , which are in demand in Canada . At present the unemployment rate is a meager 6% . how ever your success entirely depends on how well you perform in the interview.
  • After how much time of my arrival in Canada can I work?
    After landing in Canada, the completion of formalities i.e. getting social insurance number, health card, bank accounts take about 15 days. We advise clients to prepare their resumes and train them on interview skills while in India.
  • Do professionals need registration & licensing to work in Canada?
    Approximately 20% of occupations in Canada are regulated professions and trades. These are to protect the health and safety of Canadians. People who want to work in regulated occupations need to obtain a license from the provisional regulatory body.
  • Is there any racial discrimination while providing the job?
    There is absolutely no racial or social discrimination in Canada. People form all nationalities live in total harmony in Canada. Canadian employers employ immigrants without prejudice of color or nationality.
  • Can I come back to my country for completion of work/studies?
    The new law passed on 28th June 2002 is more flexible as compared to the old one.As per the new provisions one has to stay in Canada for a period of 2 years in 5 years.
  • Will my application benefit if I have a close relative in Canada?
    Skilled worker applicant will be awarded bonus points if a close relative is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and over the age of 19 years.
  • Does permanent residence status in Canada permit me to enter/work in the USA?
    Permanent resident status in Canada does not affect the US immigration requirements for eligibility to legal employment. The North American free trade agreement , which applies to the citizens of Canada, does facilitate us employment. Citizens of Canada are not required to obtain visas to enter the USA , and may be eligible to be employed under the provisions of the NAFTA agreement. Canadian permanent residents do not need passport visas to enter USA.
  • Do I need a job offer to move to Canada if I have no relatives in Canada?
    No, you do not need an offer of employment to qualify for permanent residence in Canada.
