Business Immigration

The Business Immigration Program of the governemtn of Canada seeks to attract experienced business people who can support the development of a strong and prosperous Canadian economy.

There are three categories under which an applicant be eligible for immigration;
- Investors
- Entrepreneurs
- Self Employed 

Investors
The Investor Program seeks people with business experience and an ability to invest C$800,000 into Canada's economy and become permanent residents. The applicant must: 
- have business experience 
- have a minimum net worth of C$1,600,000 that was obtained legally and 
- make a C$800,000 investment 

Entrepreneurs
The Entrepreneur Program seeks people with business experience a who wish to own and actively manage businesses in Canada and create jobs. The applicant must: 
- have business experience 
- have a minimum net worth of C$300,000 that was obtained legally and 
- Once they arrive in Canada abide by the conditions set for entrepreneurs 

Self Employed
This category seeks to attract applicants who have the intention and ability to become self-employed in Canada. As a Self-employed person the applicant must have either: 
- relevant experience that will make a significant contribution to the cultural or athletic life of Canada or 
- Experience in farm management and the intention and ability to purchase and manage a farm in Canada.
